Bespoke leather craftsmanship for luxury hospitality — London

OUR STORY

From the heart of hospitality to the craft of leather

Leathera was founded by Paul Rus — a leather craftsman and hospitality professional with over 13 years working inside London's luxury industry. That background is not decoration. It means every product Leathera makes is designed with a real understanding of how hospitality environments operate, what damages accessories, what procurement teams require, and what guests actually notice.

The insight that led to Leathera was simple: luxury hospitality venues deserved leather accessories as considered as the rest of their interior. Not catalogue products. Not generic options sent to every venue on a mailing list. Products built specifically around the identity of the venue itself.

Venues that trust Leathera

Leathera has worked with some of London's most respected hospitality brands. Current and previous clients include Rosewood London, Kwãnt Mayfair, Broadwick Soho, The Landmark London, CE LA VI London, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Great Scotland Yard Hotel, Nomad London, La Môme at The Berkeley, Four Seasons London and The Norman Tel Aviv.

Every project begins differently. Every product is bespoke. Every collaboration starts with understanding the venue rather than presenting a product range.

What Leathera produces

Leathera produces bespoke leather accessories across the full range of luxury hospitality applications:

  • Menu covers, cocktail lists and wine list holders for restaurants, bars and hotel dining rooms
  • Leather coasters — single, double and custom formats — for bars, lounges and restaurants
  • Bill presenters and check folders for table service environments
  • Leather placemats for fine dining and hotel restaurant settings
  • Hotel room accessories: valet trays, laundry boxes, tissue covers, Dyson boxes, waste bins and document holders
  • Door hangers, privacy signs and cloakroom tags
  • Corporate gifts and bespoke presentation pieces for private clients

The bespoke process

Working with Leathera is a collaborative process guided by the venue's identity and operational requirements. A typical project follows these stages:

  • Initial consultation — understanding the venue, atmosphere, branding direction and operational context
  • Leather and material selection from a curated range of textures, colours and finishes
  • Design development — dimensions, branding placement, stitching detail and edge treatment
  • Sample production for physical review and approval
  • Full manufacture with quality control to hospitality standards
  • Delivery typically within 4–6 weeks from design approval

All projects are priced on request based on specification, material selection and quantity.

Why genuine leather, why handcrafted

Cheap hospitality accessories are false economy. They crack, peel, deform and lose structural integrity under the demands of daily commercial use. Genuine leather behaves differently — it maintains form, develops character and continues looking refined after years of intensive service.

Leathera uses only premium genuine leather, selected specifically for each project based on texture, durability and finish requirements. Every product is handcrafted in the studio with reinforced internal construction, precision stitching and edge painting applied to hospitality standards.

Every product begins as a conversation, not a catalogue. We build around your venue's identity — your colours, your textures, your atmosphere. Nothing is standard. Nothing is off the shelf.

Genuine Leather. Always.

We work exclusively with premium genuine leather selected for hospitality durability. Our materials are chosen to improve with age, not deteriorate under daily service pressure.

4–6 Week Delivery

Bespoke does not mean slow. Most projects are designed, sampled, approved and delivered within 4–6 weeks. Early consultation is recommended for venue openings and refurbishments with fixed timelines.
